Dinosaur Ridge - Habitat / Biodiversity

Our classes visited an area in Colorado where dinosaurs used to live. This area was the coast of a tropical sea 135 million years ago. Dinosaurs lived in the area and their footprints are still visible in the rock.
Approximately 70 million years ago the Rocky Mountains formed and the sea receded and the habitat changed dramatically.
We visited a few locations in the area and made this video to show you what it looks like today.

What are the closest mountains to your home?
Are there fossils in the area?
Has the habitat changed dramatically in the last 100 million years?
