These are pictures of ash in the reservoir area Alicura and in Junin de los Andes. In the more information link this event. Ash came to Australia. The airports were closed for a long time.
To exit we should protect our eyes with goggles and nose and mouth mask. It was very uncomfortable to use them because their breath fogged goggles and looked little.

This was a very intresting and well put together video. Has the country recovered from this or are things still destroyed?

We ,actually, didn't know about it. We learned it when we were starting this project.

Volcano in Chile

bmeyers5 Nov 11, 2013
Dear students, This is a beautiful video of the eruption in Chile. I think that it is interesting to see lightning form in the dust clouds. This must be very beautiful to watch.

Hi! This video was amazing and intriguing to watch, and I was wondering how much ash was released from the volcanos?
Thanks

This video is very intriguing and the eruption is very beautiful. I wonder what gives the ash cloud it's unique color-- is it because there is a sunset happening?
Thanks

This video is very cool and the lightning was amazing! How long did it take for the ash cloud to dissipate? Was anyone effect by this eruption ?

USmslade Nov 13, 2013
I enjoyed your video very much. My question involves the air quality after the explosion. Did people have to wear masks, or was the ash punched into the stratosphere and didn't affect the air quality towards the ground?
Matt in the US

Gharral Nov 13, 2013
This video was full of very cool pictures and video of so many cool things that happen when volcanoes erupt. I never knew why in many pictures of volcanoes erupting there was lightning everywhere, but now I do know. I do want to know if the lightning can have any other effects than just a cool show.
Cool video

Wow, this was a very cool volcanic eruption. I was amazed by all of the colors that the ash when through in the atmosphere. I have never actually Hurd of lightning striking in a erupting volcano. How hight if the ash get into the Earth's atmosphere? How many people were effected by this eruption.

Thanks, Chase

Hello I'm Wyeth, those volcano eruptions were really interesting. My favorite part was the cool lighting. Did the ash effect air quality a lot or a little.
Thanks, Wyeth

Hello I am Joaquin.
At least 3,500 people were evacuated due to the eruption in nearby areas, while the ash cloud reached the cities of Villa La Angostura, Villa Traful, San Carlos de Bariloche and other cities. Cities are very tourist areas and were affected.

Mud Volcanoes

bmeyers5 Nov 11, 2013
Greetings students, I have never heard of mud volcanoes before. This is very interesting! Now I want to learn more. They look a little like a geyser found near hot springs but you said that they are not hot. Do you know what causes the mud to rise and bubble out of the ground?
Thank you this was very interesting.

All the best,
Mr. Meyers

s_corley_71 Nov 11, 2013
Hello, so you guys asked if we have any volcanoes in the U.S. We have many volcanoes in the US. Some places have many volcanoes or had many volcanoes, such as, Alaska, California, Hawaii, and Oregon.

ChaseFulkerson Nov 12, 2013
Hello, these mud volcanoes look like an amazing sight to see. I have heard of geysers, volcanoes shooting magma/lava very high into the air and that are extremely hot, but I have never heard of a cold mud volcano? Do your classes go to these mud volcanoes and get samples to do a lab with the volcanic mud material? What causes the mud to shoot out of the volcano and still be cold while still bubbling?
Thanks for teaching me about something I thought never existed, Chase
Colorado, USA

Bhcjhayes Nov 12, 2013
Hello-
I, like Chase, have heard of geysers, however I have never heard of a cold mud volcanoes. Are these mud volcanoes exposing toxins into the air, like regular volcanoes? How do these mud volcanoes erupt if they are cold, such as regular volcanoes erupt because of heat rising? Mud volcanoes seem like an interesting phenomenon!

Hello! This was a very interesting video. I had never heard of mud volcanos before. Do you know what causes these volcanos to erupt? You asked if there are any volcanos in the US and there are. We have some in places like Hawaii and Alaska. I have actually been to an inactive volcano on the island of Maui in Hawaii and it was very interesting. Also, are there any mud volcanos around the area you live in?

i really liked this video because I had never heard of mud volcanoes until I watched your video. I saw that you asked if we had any in the United States and we do, but only in places like Hawaii and Alaska. Unfortunately, I haven't been to a volcano in either of these places though. Hello! This was an interesting video! I do not think mud volcanoes are very common here at all! Our science teacher did not know about them, so they must be rare. What is the average size a mud volcano? Do they EVER shoot magma out? Thanks!

Hello, this video was awesome. I have never seen suchh a thing. The mud volcanoes look beautiful. It's also cool that it is harmless. I wish we had one in Colorado. Have you guys ever been near one when it erupts? Have you ever seen one in person? We have none of these volcanoes in Colorado. Thanks for a great video.

Hi. I have never heard of mud volcanoes before our presentation, but now I'm interested to see them. They are located not in Kyiv, so I want to visit them next time, when I'm in Crimea.

Oksana_Levytska Nov 25, 2013
Hi. Thank you for your reviews, I'm pleased that you answer our questions )

Makaela, we use all materials from the Internet.

Jayson, Kaylie, how I know, mud volcanoes can be different size and have different behavior. I found one video for you. You can see how volcanoes can erupt. After all our presentation, at the foot of a page.

Jordan, no, mud volcanoes erupt only mud.

Gavyn, no, unfortunately, we never been near volcanoes. We live in Kyiv and volcanoes are far away from us.

Ksenia, Kyiv

I thought I heard you guys say that one destroyed a town! That is crazy! I hope that your government finds a solution and I hope it gets better. I also have noticed the protesting and how violent it looks. I am very sorry and I hope it gets better. Good by for now!
