After the terrorist attacks in France , pupils wanted to show their support to the freedom of speech.
We are all Charlie.
Charlie hebdo was a French satirical newspaper, some of its best-known cartoonists died during the terrorist attack.
France is sad and shocked but France and Europe are united against terrosism.
Demonstration in Paris : January 11th.

The French students posted a video " Je suis Charlie" to denounce the terrorist attacks and to support freedom of speech.

Thanks a lot for your support.
It meant a lot for us to see a lot of countries supporting France. We were sensitive to John Kerry addressing our country in French.
Every country has to fight against terrorism and indeeed teaching our students to be open minded, tolerant is one of our best weapon agains terrorism.

I' ve been thinking of you these days reading news from Paris and watching TV news.
Watching your video where the students say "Je suis Charlie", a slogan adopted by supporters of free speech and freedom of expression after the 7 January 2015 massacre, I feel how tears are rolling down my cheeks because I know what terrorism is. In Ukraine people share all the sorrow and we hope that the united world will stop terrorism whenever and wherever it is. We are proud of all the people of good will who gathered together to demonstrate support to the French people.

My students are coming back to school after holidays on 19 December, and they are sure to add more comments here.
