Introduction
It's a cold autumn day.
Today two boy are born in the city of London.
One of them is from a poor family and his name is Tom.
And the other boy is a rich family and his name is Edward.
Edward is the king's son.
After Edward's birth everyone is happy.
Nobody wants to work, so everybody has a holiday.
Several years pass.
Tom lives in an old house on the third floor.
His mother is a kind woman who loves children.
But his father is a bad person.
In the house where Tom lives, lives an old man.
Everyone calles this man father Andrew.
Father Andrew loves Tom.
First he teaches Tom how to read.
Then he teaches him how to write and speak Latin.
After Andrew's stories Tom becomes cleverer.
Tom and his friends always play a game called "King"
Then Tom comes home after games without any money his father beats him.
After that Tom goes to bed and dreams about kings...

Part 1

After that he goes straight on.
His thoughts are full of his night's dream.
He comes to Westminster and looks through the gates.
At the other side of the gates stands a good-looking boy.
It's Edward Tudor.
Then Tom puts his face against the bars of the gates.
The next moment one of the soldiers pushes him.
Edward sees it and and cries to the soldier.
Then Edward invites Tom and they come inside.
The prince asks Tom about Tom's life.
Tom tells him about all.
Then Edward wants to do a change because he likes Tom's life.
After that Edward sees a bruise on Tom's face.
Edward becomes angry and goes to the soldiers.
But they take him for Tom and say "Go away".
Today Tom gets up hungry and goes away hungry.

Before him there is a fat man, who is on a sofa.
The man is Henry VIII, King of England.
The King asks Tom about his health and says that he is the King.
Then Tom falls on his knees and begins to cover his face.
The lords help Tom to stand up.
After that Henry VIII understands that his thoughts about "his son" are true.
He tells Tom to be at peace.
Tom tries to tell the King that he isn't king's son, but the King doesn't believe him.
Then the King decides to examine Tom.
First he asks a question in Latin and Tom answers in the same language.
Then the King asks a question in French.
First Tom stands silent for a moment.
After that he says that he doesn't know that language.
Then the King gives some orders.
In the end Tom leaves the King.
Soon Tom finds himself in a big apartment of the palace.

At one o'clock in the afternoon Tom visits a large apartament, there is a tble, laid fir one.
Tom is very hungry, so he begins to eat at once.
He doesn't pay attention to all lords, who are in the room.
While tom is eating, he puts on 'childish tricks'.
Tom begins tp eat with his fingers, but the lords don't pay attention to them.
Some minutes later Tom is at loss.
tom has a big problem: his nise begins to itch.
Tom thinks that lords have to scratch his nose, so he says them about it.
The lords are at a loss: there's no Royal Nose Scratcher in England.
So boy decides to break the etiquette and scratches his nose himself.
Then Tom put some nuts in his pocket.
After Tom's dinner a lord cimes up to Tom and gives him a cup with water, to claen Tom's mouth and finders.
Tom drinkes that water and says that he doesn't like it.
After dinner Tom goes to his room.
There he finds a book abiut the etiquette.
So, he lays down upon a sofa and begins to study the etiquette.

After that all go to bed, but John stays and drinks more.
While children are sleeping Tom's mother make a test for Edward.
At the morning someone comes to Candy's house and says that priest is died.
John and his family run away.
They meet on the London Bridge.
Edward thinks that it is a chance for him, so he pushes John and runs to the palace.
There he asks the guard to come in.
But they laugh only and people do the same.
But there is man, who helps Edward and fights with the guard.
After that he pulls Edward and run away.
At that time Edward is found by Tom's father.
The man drags Edward home.

He asks miles to wake him up, when the table is laid.
Then a servant takes the supper to the room and Edward gets up.
Edward goes to the wash-table and stands.
He asks Miles to wash him.
After that Edward sits at the table and begins to eat.
Miles tells Edward his sad story.
