Thank you for kind words about my students.
A group of German students and some teachers are visiting our school at the moment
and they are staying with our students' families.

What I like in the video is that all the students look happy and Robin,
the German student, feels good and he is going to visit Ukraine next year.
Here is a photo taken a few minutes before the interview.

Our students are going to visit Germany in the spring, too.
On 23 October a treaty about mutual cooperation and teachers' and students' exchanges for the further 10 years between the German school and our Gymnasiun was signed.

As for the painting in the background, you are right. It's a wonderful painting made on wallpapers by our teacher of Arts V.Yuryk. I wish I could tell him you liked his work. Unfortunately, he died in a car accident this summer.
The painting consists of 3 parts and covers one wall of my classroom. It shows an English castle and ravens in the sky.
We stick students' projects to the castle with the help of safety pins.

It is nearly impossible to describe how to prepare borshch because there is no single "correct" way to actually cook borshch. 
Each hostess has her own ideas about the ingredients to be used and the process with which borshch has to be cooked.

In Ukraine we have a lot of traditions.
They mostly have ancient roots and are connected with harvest, weather changes and food, too.
As for festivals, we have quite a few very popular in Ukraine.
Borshch is just a Ukrainian national meal, cooked in all families and in all Ukrainian restaurants.
In the photo you can see special pies baked to be served with borshch. They are called "pampushki" with garlic.

This year we've had more festivals than usual as they were sponsored by candidates into deputies of the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine. The elections are on Sunday, 28 October.)

Borshch is a Ukrainian national meal, but it is cooked in various countries. A lot of people in Russia make borshch, too.

Borshch is spelt борщ in Ukrainian and in Russian.

Students greet their teachers on Friday
as it is the last working day before Sunday.

This year the students have prepared this sweet presentation and an exciting concert.

Hello !
First I want to say to all the students : You are sooooo beautiful in this clothes ! Nobody have the sames and it's very cool ! I'm fond of the traditional dresses.

So me, I like wearing jeans (colored or not), dresses sometimes, I'm CRAZY about wearing accessories as earrings, necklaces, bracelets hair accessories and all I can find (lol).

I agree with Nick. It is interesting how similar styles in Ukraine are to styles in America. Even some of the more formal clothes could easily be seen here in Colorado.

Lyndia1107, we don't. We have special school uniform, wich consists of a black jacket, light blouse and black skirt or trousers.

We've got a question. At one of your videos we saw a lot of trainers on the floor. Why so many ? Is it part of a school uniform ?
