Nastia_Ratkivska. The client

Mark Sway is in the woods near his home with his little brother Ricky. They hide in the long grass and smoke cigarettes. And then a car drives up. The boys watch through the long grass as a man tries to kill himself with gas from the engine. They stop him, but this unknown man catches hold of Mark and pulls him into the car. As they sit there, the man says that he is a lawyer. He works FOR the Mafia ( a criminal organization) and he is in trouble. They have killed an important politician. And the police looks for the body and the man tells Mark where it is. Mark escapes from the car. The man comes out with a gun in his hand. Then he puts the gun in HIS mouth and shoots himself. Now Mark knows a secret and he doesn't know what to do about it.
Mark is 11 y.o. His mother Dianne left.LEAVEs his father and she takes Mark and Ricky with her. Because his father is often drunk and violent. +
So Mark teaches Ricky to play football, to ride a bike and everything that he knows. Mark is afraid of the Mafia if he talks to the police, but the police want information from him. Mark lives in an adult world where nobody careS about his problem.+
But the Mafia is also interested in Mark. A man with a knife promises to kill Mark. his mother and his brother if he tells the police anything. Mark needs a friend and he finds one. Reggie Love is a lawyer, but rather unusual. But Mark still has to make some difficult decisions. Will he find a way to protect himself and his family in this dangerous adult world??!
Mark looks in the mirror and sees Ricky. Ricky crawls towards the back of the car. At this moment, Romey begins to tell Mark about his client. The client has killed a senator. And the FBI looks everywhere for his body and Romey's client has hid it in his garage, under his boat. Suddenly Mark smells the air again. The Romey's client is a member of the Mafia in New Orleans. Now he wants to kill Romey because he knows about the body. Then he laughs and drinks more whisky. Soon he is asleep. Mark gently opens the car door and runs to Ricky. Mark lights a cigarette and watches the car. Suddenly the door opens and the lawyer comes out with the gun in his hand. He sees the tube and starts screaming. His wild red eyes look round for Mark. Then he puts the gun in his mouth and shoots himself. Mark calls 911 for the police.
Ricky is sick. His skin is cold and wet. His thumb is in his mouth, his eyes are opened and his body shakes.

Ricky is sick. His skin is cold and wet. His thumb is in his mouth, his eyes are opened and his body shakes. Mark remembers a television programme about some kids who have seen a horrible accident. After that their thumbs are in their mouths like babies. Mark is very upset. He steps outside the room and a hand grabs him. He looks up into the face of a cop. The policeman begins to ask Mark about the body. Mark's heart stops and his blood runs cold. He tries to seem calm. His hands shakes so he sits on them. +
He needs time to think.
News of Jerome Clifford's death travels fast to the Mafia in New Orleans. Roy Foltrigg also knows about the death. Roy is a US government lawyer. His job is to prove that Barry Muldanno has killed the senator, but where is the body? Maybe there are/IS some evidence in Memphis.+
Slick Moeller's real name is Alfred, but nobody knows it. Crime is his life. He knows everyone, talks to everyone and never names anyone who trustshim with secrets. He often knows about a crime before the cops. Jerome Clifford has left a note which nobody can read. And there are strange fingerprints on his whisky bottle.
The FBI now controls the case.
4+4+3
Roy Foltrigg likes to be on television. He really enjoys those moments when the cameras waits for him.
Jason and Larry introduce themselves. They talk about Mark and Clifford's death. Jason explains the facts quickly. He tells Foltrigg about finding the car, the time of death and the body. Jason and Larry don't believe Mark because his fingerprints are all over the car. They're on whisky bottle and they are on the tail pipe too. Next Jason and Larry find three cigarettes near the car. Clifford has left a note it tells his secretary what to do after his death. Then Foltrigg takes it and reads. He says that the ink is different. Foltrigg shuts his mouth, puts the note on the desk and clears his throat.
Mark is asleep in front of the television when a nurse finds him next morning. Mark stands next to Dienne and she puts her arm on his shoulder. Then Dianne asks the doctor if he has seen cases like this before.
