Our idea for a prototype to help people that have Cystic Fibrosis is a CF pill. A CF pill is a pill that you swallow and it releases air into your lungs that kill off the mucus.

I found Mayo Clinic, which is useful for knowing the symptoms, treatments, and other information about the disease. I also found Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which is useful for knowing what it does, how you get it, and raises awareness for the disease. My goals as the health reporter are to interview my teammates and write a detailed essay about the disease. How could you treat this disease? Is Cystic Fibrosis more common in Ukraine than in America?

Cystic Fibrosis is inherited if your parents each have the same gene. You can only get Cystic Fibrosis if both of your parents carry the gene, not just one.

I found a good website called Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It has stuff on nutritional value for toddlers. I hope to get the meal plan almost done in this upcoming week. I hope to fully understand the disease. -Brayden R. Dietitian
