We found information on wildlife that was near extinction and now is overpopulating many areas. This is an example of habitat that was lost and had been reclaimed.

Hi!
You've done an interesting research!
Can you tell, please, how often people in Colorado suffer from wild animals?
I see, you suggest different conclusions, including hunting. To my mind, it's better to use less radical methods. I really like the idea of limiting access to food!
All the best,
Stacy

Hello everyone!
I'm really impressed by your video about overpopulation of wild animals in USA. Well, everything changes so fast, I mean, we are always talking about extinction of lots of species of wild animals and the world is actually very concerned about losses in wildlife but, as we can see, now we are about to cope with overpopulation. In my opinion, hunting is an effective solution to this problem but it's too easy, awful and ruthless. I agree with you that we should keep our towns and streets clean in order to reduce the amount of food that animals can find there. But, of course, we are forced to use hunting as a way to cope with this problem, but I think that only skilled hunting can be allowed because only those people who are educated and related to biology and science can kill animals.
Have you ever faced such problem? For instance, nearby your house, like noticing wild animals in your yards or gardens?
Thank you for your videos!
Best wishes,
Olia

Hey guys!
I've discovered many trimming facts about overpopulation in US and Colorado.
In the video you mentioned about the overpopulation of some wild turkeys.
How big are they?
Are they really dangerous to pets?
Which pets do they eat or kill?
I also found on the internet about overpopulation of wild buffalo in the US.
Is this problem relevant for your state?
Thanks for making such a cognitive research:)

Hey Diana!
We don't have wild turkey here in Colorado. I think they are just a few feet tall. I haven't heard that they are dangerous to pets.
We don't have wild buffalo either, only buffalo that are raised on ranches.
Thanks for watching our video!

Hello Olga, I agree with your statement on who should hunt, but that would be hard to regulate as a lot of people already have a hunting license, so that would mean taking that license away, or having a mandatory re-evaluation for a license and a test to make sure that they have good enough skills to have a license.

Hi everyone!
You did a great research. I actually didn't know some facts about wildlife overpopulation in Ukraine so it was really interesting for me to watch.
I don't think killing animals is the best way to improve the situation with wildlife overpopulation, but it isn't so important as people's safety.

Hi!
It's terrible that we have problems like this.
I found the information about stray animals in cities. Here's an article about Ukranian problem : http://www.kyivpost.com/content/ukraine/problem-with-stray-animals-shows-ugly-face-of-ukra-74991.html
Sometimes before very impotant events in the country , the goverment uses to kill homeless pets. When Ukraine was waiting for Euro 2012 lots of animals were, as I call it, tortured. People posted information about what have they found, including photos. Animal were burnt alive, poisoned and so on. Such horrible ways to solve the problem.. But nobody didn't confim anything officially. Here you can find more : http://www.animal-rights-action.com/animal-overpopulation.html
Also I got to know about the situation in Colorado. Now I think that the USA try to liquidate more humanly. It's better than doing nothing or in such cruel ways as I described before. http://www.examiner.com/article/colorado-continues-to-conquer-pet-overpopulation-with-statewide-spay-neuter
People have no power to deside about someone's life, even if it's an animal. We have to save the lives!

Hi everybody!
Your videos are really interesting and I know a lot of new about this problem.
It is really hard to do something with this.
Of course hunting seems the easiest way but some animals are protected by the law and this is just very unfair to banish aimals from their habitat.
In my opinion the best way to solve this problem is transporting animals to conservation areas or other places where they can live.
Best wishes

It's bad, that overpopulation is an important problem for cities.
Animals caused a lot of crashes... This fact is sad for me, because I love animals.

Hi !
I think it's much dignified spend money creating places where these animals could live without suffering , in their habitat, in the best conditions.
it's very difficult to accept that we can't coexist with animals ! we are
usurping their territory all the time, and now we even don't want they living with us. I understand the danger and the problems that the animals bring, but i think we can give to the animals a better place and a better way to live, an opportunity to live.
Best wishes
Camila.

Hello everyone!
All of these replies were very nice and thoughtful. It was cool to hear everyone's different ideas about this topic. I especially liked Vadim's ideas of transporting the animals to places where they could live in the large numbers without being hunted. I'm glad everyone liked our video!

Hi Inna!
I really took an interest in how they handle with the stray animals in Ukraine. It is really disturbing how they deal with this. Are there any animal shelters? Do people get angry when they kill the animals so brutally? I hope that we can find a way to end it.

Thanks!

Hi Teresa!
I don't know much about this topic, but I can say, that there are such places as animal shelters. There work special people, who look after animals. In Ukraine there are also a lot of reservation areas, where animals can live in their natural environment.

Best wishes,
Dima,
Ukreaine
