  1. I think person, who will be from my country might be clever( for example know 5-10 languages), read a lot of information and might use it, might be communicable and generous. Now, i can't name a certain person from Ukraine, who might represent my state with dignity. If it was in the past, I will chose Lesya Ukrainka or Taras Shevchenko, because they were really patriots and wise people.
About health issues... A lot of people refuse to inject, they don't understand, that they endanger themselves and others. Also a lot of people have disastrous habits, what lead to various illnesses. I think doctors and people, who knows science, should to find or invent more good medicine, what will help a lot of people. For exaple: cancer, AIDS and HIV. A lot of people from different countries died, die and will die, because we do nothing for our environment and elimination of diseases.

  2. So, in my opinion, people, who will be in these 100 must be educated and professionals in their business, have many useful skills that can help in different situations, have a certain position, opinion and culture that they can develop, distribute and give to descendants.

Health is very important part of our life and I think, we really must think about it. Nowadays many people have forgotten about really global problem, about people who are dying. We mustn't be indifferent to this and people who really knows more in this area might do something for help them and our life in general.

    2. I agree with the first part of Olga's statement that they must be educated and have good caultites. But I disagree with the fact that she said many people have forgotten that others are dying. I don't believe that's true. Maybe what you were trying to say was that people are forgetting about helping others around the world and not just themselves.

  3. 1. I would suggest our famous Ukrinian writer Lina Kostenko. Because she is wise and very clever person. She has seen a lot in life, so she has a very great experience. Also she know a few languages. She has written a lot of lyrical works which have a huge meaning. And of course, I reccommend you her works, because they are worth reading. She is an amazing woman.
2.I think that our gouvernment and governments of other countries must to invest in the development of medical technology. Doctors need a high-quality equipment to invent vaccines, medicaments and also to learn diseas. Of course people also have to make efforts to improve their lives. For example, go to dietician and improve own diet. In Ukraine many people don't follow their food and this produces in humans a variety of serious and common illnesses.

    2. Hi,
After researching Lina, I completely agree with you. I think it would be good to have highly educated people in literature and language. People with this type of education usually communicate well with others. This would be very important in a small society. I also agree that countries should invest more in medical reasearch. I think that if several countries funded a research project, lots of cures could be found, and the countries could become more united.

  4. I think it should be a responsible, resourceful and clever person. I can not name any specific people. this person should take things seriously, know a lot of useful information.
People do not understand that you can not buy health for money. Now people do not think about it and sometimes endanger others. it would be great if they could find a cure for cancer and other incurable diseases, yes, it can be prevented, but you never know what awaits you.

  5. 1.I would put Konstantin Nikolayevich Tyshchenko out of my community to represent the world population. You probably have not heard of him, but he is a Ukrainian linguist, a teacher, a translator, a doctor of philological sciences, a professor. One of the reasons is that he knows more than twenty languages and has developed a meta-theory of linguistics. Other reasons are that he has his own position in life.

  6. 2. In my opinion, first of all, it is necessary to improve the standard of living in some countries (Africa, Asia, etc.). Then you need to make a vaccine against the disease from the moment of the baby's birth. Authorities in all countries should also develop medical technologies.

  7. I would like to nominate Andrei Shevchenko. Because he is a famous footballer and a famous personality. With his work he achieved high results in sports, became a coach of the national team of Ukraine. For such as he should build the sports future of our country.

  14. I think that one of the last people on earth should be Albert Einstein. I think that he could contribute to the society greatly. He could be the scientist and he could invent things to help the community. I think that we should be taking action on the global heath issues around the world. Everyone in the world should contribute to helping others of our same species to live healthy lives. Just because of their skin, where they live, and how much money they have, doesn’t mean they deserve to suffer from bad health and other conditions.

  15. When looking to nominate someone from my community to represent my country and lifestyle, I would nominate one of my teachers, Dr. G. She is a caring, compassionate person, but at the same time is tough and has a "rub some dirt on it" attitude. She is open to others opinions, but is not easily swayed by them. Also, since she is a teacher, she is very smart and has a lot of good ideas. All in all, I think the would be a great person to represent my community.
When battling health issues and trying to get vaccines and medication to all people, poor or rich, I think we really just need to educate them on the disease itself. If they know nothing about what they are sick with, then how are they supposed to know that they have this disease or get a vaccine for it? We need to go around and tell people about the vaccines and how it can help them and their family.

  20. When asked to nominate someone from my community to represent the world, I would choose my mom. She has experience being a doctor, and working in other countries making people happier and healthier. She also has a common goal to help those who are less fortunate. All in all, I would chose my mom to represent my community.

I believe that the best way to face our global health issues is to address them first hand and inform every person about the risks, encouraging them to take a vaccine or do something for prevention. If we expose every person to these medical issues, and give them the resources to get healthier and stay healthier I believe that this will make an impact on these issues.

  21. When I think of the world being 100 people, the one person I would choose to represent the U.S. would probably be one of my church youth group leaders. Her name is Jordan Koornneef and she is an amazing person that I look up to. In the U.S., kids graduate high school at age 17 or 18 and graduate form college at age 22 or 23. Jordan is 20 and she already went to college, got her bachelors degree and has a full time job helping others. She would be the one person I would nominate to represent for the 100 people.
For Global Health, I think that it shouldn’t cost as much and if it has to cost something, make it so that everyone around the world can afford it. That would mean that in some countries it would cost less but then it would hopefully decrease the amount of children under five who die every year from not being able to get the medicine they need. Also getting the word out to everyone would hopefully get people working on a solution that would benefit everybody and make the world a better place with less global health issues.

  22. John Galt from Atlas Shrugged would be a great representative of my community, and the whole world. While not a real person, he is an ideal to aspire to. He uses the power of his mind to further human's existence. In the book Atlas Shrugged, he invented a motor that makes electricity out of the air. He refuses to take his happiness and success as guilt, and refuses to start the use of force. By moving toward his own success, he invents things that better human existence. He describes himself as the man who loves his life, and he refuses to apoligze for that. We could use more people like him.

In order to solve the global health challenge, private industries need more freedom to invent new cures and vaccines and more freedom to sell them in third-world countries. These doctors need to be paid more, as incentive to be better to make more money. This would allow for more competition, leading to better products and lower prices, and more incentive for the doctors to make these communities more healthy.

  23. My thoughts on global health issues is that it is very unfortunate that people are not receiving the right medication and dying from theses diseases that are living in rural areas. I think that we should distribute more hospitals in lower income countries than in higher income countries because transportation is not as a issue as it is for the people in poorer areas. -Faith

  24. i think we as a world need to not have a hospital every few miles if there are options to drive, because having a car means a few miles is just a couple minutes. Therefore, we should use the vaccines and medicines at these extra and unneeded hospitals at hospitals in lower income countries and areas. The people in the lower income areas need the vaccines more than we do, we need to get our medicines to the other people who need it too. The sicknesses that these people are going through is not okay because we have the options and resources to help them. My thoughts on this topic is that we must put the struggling people first and put the people with access and great health care second.

  25. I think that health issues in rural countries are destroying their community's and people because it takes over one part of the country, and then spreads to another part. I also think that our country needs to stop adding hospitals on every block and begin using those materials and money in lower income countries to help those populations receive the same access to healthcare because transportation in those countries is minimal and hard to get and having a hospital near, will help people receive the proper medication.

  26. I nominate Abraham Lincoln because he took our country far and made a big difference in time as president. For example, he eliminated slavery and because of that many people are free who would be if this man was not president.
Global Health Care should be provided because there are so many sick people who can not get cures to a curable disease. I think we need to find a way to make vaccines available across the world and either make them incredibly inexexpensive or make them not cost anything. People are dying all across the world because they do not have access to free health care and that is not ok. At this point in time we need to look at ourselves and know we can not spare any more lives.

    1. Hello Heidi,

  27. I would nominate Ghandi because of his human rights activism. He would be able to help the remaining humans survive more effectively. Based on his ideals, he would also advocate for a peaceful rebuilding of society. Also, he has experience with suffering, so he could easily empathize with all of the remaining humans. All in all, he would be a great candidate to represent our world community.
The first step that our society should take in supporting global health is, in my opinion, educating people in more privileged communities about the health issues occurring around the world. If our community knew more about these issues, they will have more sympathy for the less unfortunate members of our society. With this heightened education, more students will be interested in improving global health.

It would also be someone who knows what's right and wrong, and has the best interests of people in mind. I would nominate Kendall, because she has the work ethic, the moral righteousness, and the public speaking abilities necessary. Also, she would stand up for what she believes in.

    2. I think that health is very important. We have taken great leaps to reach where we are now, but many of the poorer countries in the world don't have the healthcare that they need. inventing cheap and easily accessible medications and treatments for those countries would be a good way to help. Also, we would need people who would visit these countries and see firsthand who these people are and what they need.

Lastly, she would represent us well because she has a strong sense of who she is in the world and what kind of person she strives to be.
Access to medical care is incredibly important for our world. I believe that one of our biggest problems is that we don't have enough people in the medical field that are assisting people in impoverished countries. There are plenty of doctors and nurses in America, but few are willing to assist people in a foreign and often times poor environment. Because of this, I believe that we need to be drawing doctors into this area of work. We can do this by supporting organizations like Doctors Beyond Borders, educating the medical community on the impact that a doctor can make in a struggling place, and finally offering more incentives (like money) to get doctors to help these people.

Together with him would have worked many chemists and biologists who together could save the world from deadly diseases.

  35. I would nominate civil rights activist, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., to represent part of the last 100 people on earth as his driven, confident, and peaceful nature changed history and the outcome of my life today. Through his actions against discrimination of skin color, he quickly became a world leader of which many can relate to. Furthermore, I feel he would best contribute to the last 100 people on earth by spreading his notions of equality, civil justice, and peace to others.

My thoughts on battling world health issues include equal distribution of low pricing of medication to the greater community and educating them about the importance of staying healthy. I feel that if we lower the pricing of health care to those who are currently suffering of disease, they will have better access and affordability to proper treatments .Also, if we continue to teach society through
PSAs and media the importance of public health, I feel we will be able to leave behind a large positive impact on the population of those who are sick.

  36. 1) In my opinion , Ukraine and the whole world should be represented by a well-qualified person with a large vocabulary.
    These are journalists, TV presidents.
They have a good language and they can tell a lot.
    For example, Alexander Skichko.
    He is a TV presenter.
In 2017, Alexander was a conductor at the Eurovision.
I think that he could represent Ukraine very well.
    2) At the moment, many people die (sick) from poor quality products, medicines, vaccines.
Also, most get sickness from the environment.
Dym and gases from cars, factories.
People's breathe air with chemical elements.
Because of this, many people are sick.
To prevent this, though a little, it is possible to create machines that will not be able to deduce chemical elements.
And plants are built around a city where there are few people.
This would help us to somehow get rid of global health problems.
Millions of people are suffering from cancer.
Some of them suffer from cigarettes.
They are very harmful to health.
The cigar contains a lot of harmful substances that harm our health.
If you stop cigarette production, the number of patients will be much reduced.
You in the world would have less global health problems.
People, take care of your health and the health of others!
    Let's make our world better!

From July 2014 to May 25, 2016, Nadiia Savchenko was deprived of her liberty in Russia and dismissed as a result of a Ukrainian-Russian political agreement.
She holds the title of the Hero of Ukraine.
Nadezhda Savchenko is very courageous, brave and strong.

I totally agree with you. Because it must be a really brave and strong person. Nadya Savchenko is like that. And people should first think about the harm of drugs and what harm they do to their bodies, not when they are already terminally ill.

  38. Hello, Emma. I think it's a good idea that in this community there were doctors. Ukraine can imagine such people as Nikolai Amosov or Nikolai Sklifosovsky. They did a lot in their time to save the lives of others.

Absolutely, I feel the same way .I think it is very practical. People who need help immediately will receive help. This will lead to lower losses. This is the life for the elderly and children
