A website I found helpful is: Mayo Clinic
This website is really helpful because it shows all the symptoms and what causes it so its really helpful.
Another website is: Diabetic living
This website has really helpful for me especially because I'm a dietician it shows what foods are really good for diabetes.
My questions are:
-What dietary restrictions dose a 15 year old with diabetes have?
-Can a person width diabetes avoid insulin injections?
My goals:
-I want to find 10 recipes that good for each mela of the day breakfast, lunch, and dinner but also snacks.
- learn more about how exercise affects people with diabetes

this website shows 10 foods that lower blood sugar so people with diabetes.
The other website is
https://pharmacy.unc.edu/academics/the-phd/phd-careers/
It shows what a pharmaceutical reseacher does.
The two questions I have are, what foods could raise insulin and lower glucose that could be put in to a pill? And, what does a pharmaceutical Reseacher do?
lastly my goal for the week is to find several foods that can be smashed in to pill form and find a prosess that could smash the food into pill form. I also want to finish my first slide of my slide show.

American Diabetes Association- The American Diabetes Association is a foundation helping to support those who live with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. They also provide insight to their viewers on what diabetes is and how to prevent, cure, and manage it.
National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease- The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease is an organization that persues the research of serious illnesses affecting public health, while encouraging clinic research of internal medicines.
Two Questions I am Exploring-
Q1. When was diabetes first diagnosed and what is the history behind the disease?
Q2. How can I, as a health reporter, properly inform the public/my class about diabetes in the best way possible?
My goals for the week are to...
1) Research my role as a health reporter.
2) Take notes on diabetes' symptoms and treatments.
3) Begin a PowerPoint slide covering the key issues my group will be talking about.
4) Prepare questions I can use next week to interview my group about diabetes for my one-two page article.
